Holidays are never enough for students

Hello everybody!!! Being myself a student, I am not satisfied by the holidays provided by my college. When I was in school I used to convince myself that there will be more holidays in college. But now  I am in college and my expectations are increasing day by day.

Holidays are I guess one of the best things of student's life. Though we don't have to do any work during holidays we want that so badly. Even after spending a weekend when we come to college, the first topic of gossip is "when will be our next holiday". And we see faces of our teachers, it looks like they're never gonna give us a single day off. All of these, very interesting part is that, we can't spend more than one day at home without college, friends, ours classes and not to forget the boring lectures. We don't even remember the day if we don't have our college.Yet our first complaint is we need more holidays. What I mean and personally feel is, how will be our life if half days of week are holidays and half days are our class. Now it sounds better nae..... But we all know it is stupid of us to think that we are going to have those days. So let them be just in our dreams.

Students have many reasons to ask holidays and some I know includes Summer Vacation, Winter Vacation, Public holidays (includes all national days), Festivals, exams holidays. These are the days I think college itself provide holidays, but we need more. In my view we want breaks because we become tired of our daily routines, home to college, college to home, class, lectures, canteen's same food. I know I should not say these things since we our self choose to live like this and our future depends on these days. But I also know that, Student like me, can easily understand how difficult it becomes sometime to spend few hours in class. Our presence in class is just our body not our mind. And on top of that if one of our teacher is absent then that news will be the headline of that day. Plus the feeling that we will have at that time is the best feeling.

So no offense to teachers and college, we are not asking break for half of the year, it's just our mind keep telling us that stop!!! I need a break. I guess this is what we have to do until we are in college. I wish holidays can be booked.
